George Gordon wakes up in a cold, wet, misty place he doesn’t recognize, with no idea how he got there and only fragments of his memory. He quickly realizes he’s not alone when a monstrous figure accuses him of mass murder. Before he can make sense of what’s happening, he’s hurled through a portal into another alien world. On this strange planet, still without his memories, he encounters a band of dangerous warriors who drug, kidnap, and torture him. When his memory finally returns, he discovers that, despite seeming like the victim, the truth is far darker than anything his harrowing experiences had led him to expect.
